Attempt every SSC CGL Tier 2 previous year paper online, free, in both English and Hindi. Each paper is the full 150-question Tier II Paper I with the real +3/−1 marking, a timer, the answer key and step-by-step solutions. Tier II decides your final merit, and only a handful of real Tier II papers exist, so these are the most valuable papers you can practise before the December exam.
Real Tier II papers run out fast. Our 50 full-length Tier II mock tests follow the same 150-question Paper I pattern, with the 2026 sectional timing, Data Interpretation and complete GS and Computer coverage. Mock 1–4 are free.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Mock TestsEach Tier II paper is also split by section, so you can sit only its Maths, Reasoning, English or General Awareness part, with that subject's Tier II sectional clock, when you want to work on one weak area.
Tier II Paper I is common to every SSC CGL post and is the paper these previous year tests reproduce. It is split into three sections. Section I combines Mathematical Abilities and Reasoning, Section II combines English Language and General Awareness, and Section III covers Computer Knowledge together with the Data Entry Speed Test. The 150 questions in each paper here are the 30 Maths, 30 Reasoning, 45 English, 25 General Awareness and 20 Computer questions of the real paper.
Compared with Tier I, every section is longer and deeper. Maths moves further into algebra, geometry, trigonometry and data interpretation. English carries 45 questions, including comprehension passages and cloze tests, and it is the single largest block of marks in the merit calculation. General Awareness is shorter than in Tier I but still asks static GK and current affairs together.
| Section & Module | Subject | Questions | Marks | Nature |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Section I, Module I | Mathematical Abilities | 30 | 90 | Merit |
| Section I, Module II | Reasoning & General Intelligence | 30 | 90 | Merit |
| Section II, Module I | English Language & Comprehension | 45 | 135 | Merit |
| Section II, Module II | General Awareness | 25 | 75 | Merit |
| Section III, Module I | Computer Knowledge | 20 | 60 | Qualifying |
| Section III, Module II | Data Entry Speed Test | One task | — | Qualifying |
Section I (Maths and Reasoning) carries 180 marks and Section II (English and General Awareness) carries 210 marks, so the 390 merit marks divide roughly as 46% Maths and Reasoning, 35% English and 19% General Awareness. Section III is qualifying only: you must clear the Computer Knowledge module and the typing test, but those marks are not added to your merit score.
Every question in Tier II carries 3 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer in Section I, Section II and the Computer Knowledge module. That is a heavier penalty in proportion than Tier I, where a wrong answer costs half a mark against two marks for a right one. In practice it means a guess on Tier II needs better odds to be worth taking, so use the previous year papers to learn which question types you can answer with confidence and which ones to leave.
Because real Tier II papers are so few, treat each one as a full rehearsal rather than a quick practice set.
Tier I previous year papers are plentiful, because Tier I runs across dozens of shifts in every cycle. Tier II is different: it is held on only a few days, so each cycle adds just a handful of papers. Tier I practice builds speed on 100 short questions; Tier II practice has to build stamina across 150 questions, accuracy under a harsher penalty, and depth in English and Maths. If you have already worked through the Tier I papers, the Tier II papers are the right next step once your Tier I exam is done.
Every Tier II paper on this page can be attempted in both English and Hindi. Pick हिंदी when you start a test to see the questions and solutions in Hindi; the English Language section naturally stays in English. एसएससी सीजीएल टियर 2 के पिछले वर्ष के प्रश्न पत्र यहाँ हिंदी में भी मुफ्त ऑनलाइन हल करें, उत्तर कुंजी और हल सहित।

Yes. Each 150-question paper includes the 20 Computer Knowledge questions of Section III, Module I. The Data Entry Speed Test (typing) is a separate skill test and is not part of these online papers.
SSC holds Tier II on only a few days in each exam cycle, while Tier I runs for weeks across dozens of shifts. A full cycle therefore produces only a handful of Tier II papers, which is why each one is worth attempting carefully.

Both. Previous year papers show exactly how SSC sets Tier II questions and how hard they are. Because only a few real papers exist, full-length Tier II mock tests are the way to keep practising the same pattern once you have finished them.
Generally yes. Tier II has more questions per subject, deeper Maths and English, a 3-mark scheme with a 1-mark penalty, and it decides your final merit, while Tier I is only a screening stage.
