Part C, Elementary Mathematics, stays at the Class 10 level: number system, simplification, percentage, ratio and proportion, average, profit and loss, discount, simple and compound interest, time and work, time and distance, and mensuration. Most questions are one or two steps long, so a quick method and clean calculation matter more than depth.

Across shifts of the same cycle the question types barely change — only the numbers, words and facts do — so after a dozen papers you will recognise most questions within seconds. That recognition is what turns a 15-minute part into a comfortable one.

Keep an error log, and after every five tests check which topic keeps appearing in it.
