Pitched at the real SSC GD CBE level, spread across every topic in the four parts so nothing is left untouched.
One level above the actual GD paper. Same question types, harder versions — if you can hold your score here, the real exam will feel calm.
The SSC GD Constable computer-based examination is a short, fast paper: 80 questions in 60 minutes across four parts, with a cut-off that moved past 146 out of 160 for unreserved male candidates in the 2026 result. The questions are rarely hard on their own. What decides selection is accuracy under a clock that gives you 45 seconds a question, and the discipline not to lose quarter-marks to guesses. This series is built for exactly that: 50 full-length papers modelled question-type by question-type on real GD shifts from the 2024, 2025 and 2026 cycles.
Every mock follows the SSC GD part order — General Intelligence & Reasoning first, then General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi — so the paper you practise on is the paper you will sit. Each one opens in English or Hindi, and every question has a step-by-step solution; GK solutions add one related fact you can carry to the next paper.
SSC's 2026–27 examination calendar lists the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2027 with the notification in late 2026 and the computer-based examination tentatively in January–March 2027. The previous cycle, SSC GD 2026, was held from 27 April to 30 May 2026 for 25,487 posts and its result came out on 12 October 2026, with 1,97,408 candidates called for PET/PST. Your own exam date, shift and centre are printed on the admit card.
Mocks are released one after another so the full series is ready well before the CBE. For the notification, eligibility, vacancies and the complete selection process, see the SSC GD 2027 exam page.
Every mock follows the CBE exactly: objective, computer-based, bilingual, 80 questions for 160 marks. The CBE is the only written stage — marks from it, after normalisation, decide the final merit for candidates who clear the physical tests and the medical.
| Part | Section | Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | General Intelligence & Reasoning | 20 | 40 |
| B | General Knowledge & General Awareness | 20 | 40 |
| C | Elementary Mathematics | 20 | 40 |
| D | English / Hindi | 20 | 40 |

Every mock in this series is built against the official CBE syllabus below, so practising the full series means meeting every topic SSC lists.
Analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualisation and orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, blood relations, direction sense, order and ranking, and figure-based questions such as mirror images, paper folding and embedded figures. Practise this part alone with the SSC GD reasoning mock test.
India and its neighbouring countries, sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, the Indian Constitution, scientific research and current events of national and international importance. Practise it with the SSC GD GK mock test.
Number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time, and time and work. Practise it with the SSC GD maths mock test.
Basic comprehension and writing ability: spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms and antonyms, spelling, idioms and phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement, active and passive voice, direct and indirect narration, cloze passage and reading comprehension in English; in the Hindi paper, the equivalent Hindi vyakaran, shabdavali and gadyansh questions. Practise it with the SSC GD English mock test.
The 50 papers follow a fixed plan so that nothing in the syllabus is left to chance. Each mock mirrors one real GD shift for its question mix, and the plan rotates across recent shifts so that you meet every pattern SSC has used since the 80-question format began.
Mock 1 to Mock 40 are pitched at the real GD level: mostly direct questions, a share of two-step problems and a few that test the ceiling of the paper. Mock 41 to Mock 50 are challenge papers, one level above the actual exam. They keep the same question types but push the harder version of each — longer series, two-step blood relations, three-step arithmetic and GK questions where every option is a real fact.
Start with a free mock early, before you have finished the syllabus, and treat the score as a baseline rather than a verdict. Then move to one full mock every two or three days, and spend at least as long reviewing each paper as you spent writing it. The review is where marks are found: sort your wrong answers into concept gaps, careless slips and time losses, because each needs a different fix.
In the last three weeks, shift to a mock every day at the same time as your exam slot, and use the subject-wise tests to repair the weakest part without sitting a whole paper. Keep the challenge mocks for the final fortnight, when a tough paper tells you more than an easy one. Remember the physical tests follow the CBE: keep your running and the PST standards in your weekly plan alongside the mocks.
You can start without paying anything. Mock 1 and Mock 2 are full-length GD papers that are free with a TrickySSC account, and so are their Reasoning, GK, Maths and English subject-wise tests. Every SSC GD previous year paper on TrickySSC is free as well, in Hindi and English with solutions.
The remaining mocks, including the challenge mocks, unlock with the SSC GD pass at ₹49 for one year. One payment covers all 50 full-length mocks and every subject-wise test, not one test at a time.
Both, in that order of the calendar. Previous year papers show you what SSC actually asks, so solve them first and learn the recurring question types. Mock tests then give you fresh papers built from those same patterns, so your score measures skill rather than memory of a paper you have already seen. The SSC GD previous year papers are free to attempt, and so are the subject-wise PYQ tests linked from that page.

SSC's 2026–27 calendar lists the Constable (GD) 2027 notification for late 2026 with the computer-based examination tentatively in January–March 2027. Your own date, shift and centre are printed on the admit card, which SSC releases a few days before your exam. The previous cycle's CBE ran from 27 April to 30 May 2026 and its result came on 12 October 2026.
In the 2026 result the unreserved male cut-off was 146.18 out of 160, with OBC at 145.56, EWS at 144.21, SC at 140.95 and ST at 135.03, so most candidates need 140 or more. Treat 140+ in the practice mocks and 130+ in the challenge mocks as the zone to aim for.
