About TrickySSC

Last updated: August 2026

TrickySSC is an online platform built to help aspirants prepare for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exams — including SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS, CPO, GD and JE. Our goal is simple: make high-quality previous year question papers (PYQs) and mock tests available to every student, in both English and Hindi, at a price that never becomes the reason someone stops preparing.

Most aspirants preparing for SSC exams are doing it on a tight budget, often while working or studying elsewhere, and usually from a phone rather than a laptop. Everything on TrickySSC is designed with that student in mind: pages that load fast on a slow connection, a test screen with no clutter, and solutions written to be understood rather than skimmed.

What we offer

Exams we cover

SSC CGL (Tier I and Tier II), SSC CHSL (Tier I and Tier II), SSC MTS, SSC CPO, SSC GD Constable, SSC JE and SSC JHT. SSC CGL is where our library is deepest and where new papers land first; the other exams are being expanded paper by paper.

Built to match the real exam

A mock test is only useful if it behaves like the actual paper. Our test engine follows the current SSC exam pattern, including sectional timing — the change that catches most candidates off guard.

PaperHow our engine runs it
SSC CGL Tier IFour locked sections of 15 minutes each — you cannot return to a section once its time is over
SSC CGL Tier II, Paper ISection-wise limits of 30 / 30 / 40 / 20 minutes

You also get the parts that matter on exam day: a question palette, mark-for-review, clear and save behaviour that matches the real interface, negative marking applied correctly, and a full review screen after submission.

How we prepare and check our papers

Accuracy is the whole point of a previous year paper. A paper with a wrong answer key teaches the wrong thing, so we treat every correction as urgent.

  1. Each paper is typed out question by question from the official SSC paper, with figures, tables and diagrams reproduced rather than skipped.
  2. Answers are checked against the official SSC answer key wherever one exists.
  3. Hindi versions are prepared alongside the English ones so that both carry the same question, the same options and the same solution.
  4. Every question and every solution on the site carries a ⚠ Report a problem link. Student reports go straight to our review queue.
  5. Reported questions are re-verified against the source before anything is changed — we do not edit a question just because an answer is disputed.

Found something wrong? Use the report link on the question itself, or write to us from the contact page. Verified issues are usually fixed the same day.

English and Hindi, side by side

Every paper and mock test is published in both English and Hindi — not as a machine translation dropped on top of an English paper, but as a proper Hindi version with its own solutions. On English Language questions you can still switch to the original English wording, because that section is meant to be attempted in English.

Why we built it

Quality SSC practice material is usually locked behind subscriptions costing several hundred to a few thousand rupees a year — more than many aspirants can justify spending before they have cleared anything. TrickySSC was created to give serious candidates a clean, distraction-free place to practise real exam papers and measure their progress, without that barrier.

A large part of the library is free to attempt, and the paid plan exists only to cover hosting and content costs. It is priced far below what larger platforms charge, and one payment covers a full year. Current pricing and what it includes are shown on the mock test and previous year paper pages.

Who runs TrickySSC

TrickySSC is run by Priyanka Dubey, an educator focused on SSC exam preparation, working with a small team that types, translates, solves and verifies every paper that goes on the site.

We are a small, independent operation. That is a limitation in how fast we can publish, but it is also why a student email about a wrong option is read by the same people who make the papers, and acted on the same week.

What we are not

TrickySSC is an independent education platform. We are not affiliated with the Staff Selection Commission or any government body, we do not conduct recruitment, and we cannot influence results, answer keys or selection in any way. We do not promise selection, guaranteed scores or "100% accurate" predictions — we provide practice material and honest performance feedback. For official notifications, exam dates and results, always rely on ssc.gov.in.
