Tier 1 of SSC CHSL decides who is shortlisted. Tier 2 decides who is selected: the final merit list is built on Tier 2 marks, and with +3 and −1 on every question the gap between two candidates can open in a single module. Tier 2 also has the thinnest supply of practice material, because SSC has held far fewer Tier 2 papers than Tier 1 shifts since the pattern changed. This series is built to fill that gap with thirty full-length papers.

Tier 2 keeps the Tier 1 subjects but asks more of each. Mathematics runs to thirty questions with a heavier share of algebra, geometry and data interpretation. English grows to forty questions, which brings reading comprehension and longer error-detection sentences back into play. General Awareness shrinks to twenty questions, so every GK question carries more weight. Two subjects share each one-hour section, which means the time you save in one module is the time you get to spend in the other.
Treat each section as a sixty-minute block and decide in advance how you will split it. Many candidates run Mathematics first while they are fresh and keep a fixed reserve for Reasoning. In Section II, English usually needs two-thirds of the hour. After each mock, compare where your minutes went with where your marks came from — that comparison, repeated across ten or fifteen papers, is what sets a stable Tier 2 score.
Use the subject-wise Tier 2 tests to drill one module without sitting the whole paper, and keep a separate log of Computer Knowledge errors: the module is only qualifying, but failing it ends the attempt.
