SSC CGL GK Mock Test 2026 — General Awareness Practice with the Real Section Timer
This page holds the General Awareness section of every full-length SSC CGL mock test on TrickySSC as a stand-alone timed test. Each Tier I test is the General Awareness section of a full mock — 25 questions, 15 minutes, 50 marks, marked +2 / −0.5 — and each Tier II test is the same subject's block of a Tier II mock — 25 questions, 20 minutes, 75 marks, marked +3 / −1. The questions are the same ones inside the full mock; what changes is that you sit only this section, on its own clock, and get a score and rank for it alone.
General Awareness is the one section where speed costs nothing — either you know the answer or you do not — so the 15 minutes are rarely a constraint. The real problem is negative marking. Every guessed wrong answer takes away 0.5, and candidates routinely lose 8–10 marks to confident guesses. A GK mock is therefore less a test of knowledge than a test of restraint: learning which questions to leave blank is worth as much as learning ten more facts.
The General Awareness questions in the mocks are built from a study of previous year papers and the 2026 syllabus, so the mix of topics per test follows what SSC actually asks: Indian polity and constitution, history, geography, economy, general science (physics, chemistry, biology), static GK (awards, books, dances, national parks), computer basics and current affairs of the last 8–10 months. Subject-wise Tests or Full Mocks?
Both, at different points of the week. A full mock is the only honest measure of your total under the 2026 sectional rules, and it should be sat at least once a week in one go. Subject-wise tests are for the days between: a 15-minute GK test after a study session tells you immediately whether the topic has actually gone in, at a fraction of the time a full paper needs. Because the questions are shared, attempt the full mock first when you want a clean total, and use its subject tests for revision afterwards.

4. Does attempting the GK test count as attempting the full mock?
No. A subject-wise attempt is saved separately (as Mock N · GK) on your dashboard and leaderboard, so the full mock stays available for a complete timed attempt later, and vice versa. The questions are the same, so if you want an honest full-mock score, attempt the full mock first and the subject test afterwards for revision.
5. Why is the Tier I GK test 15 minutes long?
Because that is exactly the time this section gets inside the real SSC CGL 2026 Tier I paper, which now runs four locked 15-minute sections. Practising the section alone on the same clock trains the pace you will need on the day.
6. Is a Hindi version available?
